Photographer Hector Retamal has witnessed the mysterious voodoo rituals of Haiti first hand, capturing the communities’ deep reverence for the afterlife.

In 2020, Hector travelled to the centre of the Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan, documenting the city's struggles with the virus and its recovery.

In Developing News, VICE World News interviews photographers whose photos have become synonymous with important world events. The photographers relive the story behind the photos, telling their tales from the front line of battlefields and hospitals, and reflecting on their journey to becoming a photographer.

《betaCulture 》 《文化进行中 》 is a lifestyle web-series where Beijing-based Nigerian director Onyishi - by the screen name of blackChenn - invites an international group of peers and celebrities to hang out at different creative spaces and discuss topics that relates to youth culture.

A set cast appears throughout all the episodes as new guests (artists, musicians, actors etc) are invited to join in the conversations and photoshoots.

“Across the Cold River” is a short film with a focus on photographer Wing Shya. The film shows Wing Shya roaming Beijing taking photos with VIVO X70 Pro + as he reflects on his career.

A fashion campaign creative directed by ONYISHI UCHENNA, photographed by SHAO KOU, filmed and edited by DIMA VESELOV, and produced by NOVA UNIVERSAL, in collaboration with FORTHOGHT LIMITED for e-commerce brand Banshan.

The campaign highlighted 12 products, with deliverables of 20 campaign prints, 157 look book prints, and a 60 seconds campaign video.

Fallen Angels written and directed by Onyishi Uchenna is the writer and director’s first NFT project. Created in collaboration with Rain in Time’s track Erosive, or 在糜爛困頓之間 , the film is the second part of Blankslate's inaugural "The Edge of Dawn" EP.

The result is a high octane editorial production that captures the movement and stillness of moving on.

The NFT has three copies priced at 1ETH each, which will entitle the owner to 5% of royalties from global platforms. An additional premium edition priced at 5 ETH that includes behind the scenes and total 15% of streaming royalties is also available via Opensea.
